I view myself as a health care provider and therefore do not encourage tipping. If you feel I have gone above and beyond in my services and would like to tip, I will use these funds for continuing education classes. Thank you for supporting my small business! (Please continue to tip massage therapists who are employees!)

Ayurvedic Massage

~100 Min/$185

This treatment is especially helpful during the change of seasons.

“The Journey,” a three-part Ayurvedic treatment, helps to balance subtle energies to bring harmony in the body. The treatment begins with Garshana, gently exfoliating the skin and stimulating the lymphatic system helping to release toxins and preparing the body to absorb the healing oil. Abhyanga is then performed by slowly pouring warm organic herbal-infused sesame oil over the body from head to toe. This is followed by long rhythmic sweeping strokes and friction to help the oil penetrate the skin. Steamed towels are then applied coaxing the oil deeper into the tissues. The Journey ends with Vishesh, slow deep strokes relaxing the muscles and grounding the body. This is a choreographed treatment and is traditionally done in silence.

A warm oil scalp and abdominal massage are included. Please let me know if you do not want these areas treated.

This treatment was adapted from hands-on training with Debbie Anne Taylor, LMT and the writings of Dr. John Douillard.

Grief Massage & Assisted relaxation

60 Min/$125

The stress of loss can be exhausting and do things to our bodies that we’re not used to. You may experience physical symptoms such as headaches, jaw pain, sleep issues, disrupted appetite, upset stomach, tight muscles, loss of memory, and fatigue. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a pet, a job, or you’re experiencing a life-changing event such as a divorce/separation or a health diagnosis, “Assisted Relaxation” can help calm the nervous system and bring awareness back into the body. The intention for this treatment is not to “fix” anything but rather provide support during the grieving process and help you feel more grounded in your body.

Your comfort is the most important part of this treatment. Emotions, memories, and tears are all welcome to show up. Essential oils, calming music, soft sheets, pillows, warm/cold packs, steamed towels, and a calming space are all provided. Some people prefer to wear comfortable clothing during the massage.

Grief is the twin of Love. Pain cannot be fixed but it can be tended to.

“Love yourself first and everything else falls into place.”
